Terms of Use
Effective: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ScholarFeed+ (the “App”), including our website at myscholarfeed.com and our mobile apps on iOS and Android, provided by EditorAI Pro (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your credentials, including any device used to receive a sign-in passcode.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
2. The Service
ScholarFeed+ helps you discover, follow, save, and discuss academic research. The App surfaces content sourced from public and third-party academic databases (such as OpenAlex, PubMed, arXiv, Crossref, and Europe PMC); we do not own that underlying research content and make no claim to it.
Some features use artificial intelligence, including Recap Chat and Recap Voice, to summarize your feed and answer questions about it, whether typed or spoken. AI generated answers are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate; they are not a substitute for reading the underlying source material, and should not be relied on as professional, academic, or research advice.
Recap Chat sends what you type or say, your voice recordings if you use voice, and related feed context to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI) so your questions can be transcribed and answered. We ask for your permission before you first use it, and you can stop using it at any time.
3. Your Content
“Your Content” means anything you submit to the App, including playlists, comments, profile information, and profile or playlist cover images. You retain ownership of Your Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the App, including showing public content (such as a public playlist or comment) to other users.
You are solely responsible for Your Content. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or that violates another person’s rights. We may remove Your Content or restrict your account if it violates these Terms.
There is no place on ScholarFeed+ for objectionable content or abusive behavior. We do not tolerate content that is hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. You can report any comment from its menu, and you can block any user from the same menu; blocked users’ comments are hidden from you, and you can unblock them in Settings > Blocked Users. We review reports promptly and act on content or users that violate these Terms, which may include removing the content and suspending or terminating the account of the user who posted it. You can also contact us at support@editoraipro.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Harass, abuse, or harm another user
- Post content that is hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable
- Post spam or impersonate another person
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or our systems
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the App’s normal operation
- Misuse AI features to generate or spread misleading or harmful content
5. Advertising & Third-Party Services
The App displays advertising served by Google AdMob and relies on other third-party service providers (described in our Privacy Policy) to operate, including for authentication, data storage, push notifications, crash reporting, and AI features. Your use of those providers’ underlying services is also subject to their own terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, software, and branding (excluding Your Content and third-party research content), is owned by EditorAI Pro and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App except as this license allows.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App, including any AI-generated content, will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDITORAI PRO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Section 6 through 8, and any other provision that by its nature should survive, will survive termination.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, through the App. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where your local law requires otherwise.
